An increasing number of guests have trouble reaching us after following directions from an Internet service or satellite navigation. Once in Minehead please follow our directions for a stress-free end to your journey!
By Road from the North:
Leave the M5 at Junction 23 (Bridgwater) and follow the A39 along the coast to Minehead or Junction 25 (Taunton) and follow the A358 through the Quantocks. At Williton follow the A39 to Minehead.
By Road from the South:
Leave the M5 at Junction 25 (Taunton) and follow the signs to Minehead (A358) . At Williton follow the A39 to Minehead.
On reaching Minehead:
Exit right at the first roundabout for the sea front (Seaward Way). Go straight ahead at the second roundabout & over the Steam Railway Line. Turn left at the next small roundabout & drive along the seafront, into The Avenue (the High Street) & continue along the road until you reach WH Smith (on the left). Turn right into Blenheim Road and take the fork uphill into Martlett Road (signposted North Hill). Continue uphill to the sharp left-hand bend, around the war memorial and Marston Lodge is 100 yards further up on the right (if you reach St. Michael’s Church you have gone too far!!).
Taunton is the nearest main-line railway station and there are regular buses to Minehead departing from Taunton station. Alternatively, The West Somerset Railway operates steam and diesel services between Bishops Lydeard and Minehead from March to October.
